 ويهدف اليوم العالمي للخدمة الاجتماعية التوعية بأهمية دور الخدمة الاجتماعية ضمن الفريق المعالج للمريض واسرته لبناء مجتمع صحي ، كما تم اطلاق مُبادرة ابراهيم آل محمود يرحمة الله التطوعية ضمن برامج اليوم العالمي للخدمة الاجتماعية .

 حيث وضح مشرف الشؤون التنظيمية والجودة ا. عادل المطيري اهمية دور التطوع على الافراد والمجتمع و ضرورة نشر ثقافة التطوع الصحي وتطويره في جميع القطاعات تحقيقاً لبرامج رؤية المملكة ٢٠٣٠ م برفع اعداد المتطوعين الى مليون متطوع قبل نهاية ٢٠٣٠ م .
